If you’re Irish….<<< Back to blogs
Step into Mijas Pueblo this Saturday April 13th for ‘Friendship Day with Ireland’ Pueblo... which comes with a unique flavour!
The event is organised by the Town Hall and among participants is the delightful Mayan Monkey Mijas chocolate factory, making a special flavour with Irish bacon, Spanish black olives, sunflower seeds and dried chickpeas.
“It might sound strange to combine all these savoury ingredients with chocolate but the results are astonishing!” says chocolatier Eli McCarthy.
But if you don’t fancy that particular combo, they are also doing a range of mousses and truffles made with Guinness, Baileys and Jameson whiskey.
No doubt whether you’re Irish or not, there’ll be good craic for all in Mijas this weekend with the promise of family activities, typical Irish drink and food, performances by Irish musicians, dancers and more.
The time: from 12.00 to 18.00.
